This is the most common auger pilot on mini loader augers. These act like a screw pulling the auger into the ground. If this is worn you will find that you will not have enough weight to penetrate hard ground. You should keep spare auger pilots in your tool box and always fit a new pilot if digging in hard ground.

This auger pilot will suit Digga, Augertorque and Pengo augers.
